This and all models of this printer, scanner, copier(you can even fax with this machine) are all good buys and range in a variety of prices.  I personally own this product and highly recommend it for an easy to setup printer that simply gets the job done.  This model can be bought at many stores ie: Walmart, CircuitCity, or Bestbuy. 

Scanning-  In the scanning process this printer does it ok, its not a speeding bullet when it comes to scanning, but like most people you can wait.  The quality of the pictures are decent they're not perfect but not bad either.  Mostly it is best to use this product to scan in pictures or photos not objects.

Copier-  The copier is very fast, you simply lay the document you wish to copy on the scanner portion and it does all the work for you!

Printer-  The printer prints great photos, even though they are digitized, they wont look exactly the same as the photo you put in because if you look closely you can tell it came from a computer, but its very fast at doing this when coping the photo.  Document printing is very fast, a black and white document typed from ie: Word, Wordpad, will turn out excellent and fast.

Scanner-  The scanner scans very well, ecspecially when working with documents, don rely on this scanner to scan in objects perfectly but it gets the job done.

Faxing-  This product includes all the software needed to print and scan, and even includes faxing software.  The speed of this is remarkable and all you do is simply plug in a phone cord into your modem and fax away!

My review:  Simply a must-have!!  Get this product if you want a reliable and fast printer you can depend on.
